"Support didn’t really come through"
Not gonna lie, I reached out to support twice and both times the replies were slow and didn’t actually solve anything. It felt like I was just sitting around waiting for help that never really came.

"Output quality was just a bit disappointing"
I tried Bannerbutter for a few banners, but the final images just came out looking a little blurry and not as polished as I was hoping. The colors were also off compared to what I expected. It technically works, but I ended up having to redo things myself, so I’m just not really happy with the result.

"Banner was easy to mess with"
I was trying to make my banner look right and there’s a lot of options to play around with. It works good for me and I got it looking how I wanted quick.

"I tried Banner Butter for a few ad..."
I tried Banner Butter for a few ad sets last week while I was putting together a small campaign, and it was kind of a mixed bag. It definitely saved me some time at first, which was nice because I was juggling this and a bunch of random Monday morning emails, but the brand consistency just wasn’t quite there. A few banners had spacing that looked slightly different from the others, and the colors didn’t really match our usual palette. It wasn’t wildly wrong, but enough that I noticed it right away when I had them open next to our normal templates. I still ended up fixing a bunch of stuff manually, so it didn’t feel as helpful as I hoped. Probably fine for quick drafts, but not great if you really need everything to stay on-brand.

"Just Way too Slow for Me"
I really wanted to like it, but the Images took forever to generate. I spent more time waiting around than actually doing anything, and after a while I just gave Up.

"Not gonna lie, team sharing has been frustrating"
Not gonna lie, using this with a team has been a mess. Invites stopped working, some comments just disappeared, and it caused a lot of unnecessary confusion. Annoying when you're trying to collaborate and keep things moving.

"Decent for quick banners, but don’t expect it to be super smooth"
I tried bannerbutter to make a few quick banner images, it got the job done for the basic stuff I needed.

The templates were helpful and the final images looked fine, but just a heads up, the editor can feel a little clunky. I had to refresh it a couple of times, and some of the settings weren’t very obvious at first.

Overall, it’s not bad, but I’d warn people not to go in expecting a polished, seamless experience. I’d use it again for simple banners, but probably not for anything too detailed or important.

"Works fine most days"
API does what I need. Most days, no issues. Had one hiccup once. Not a big deal. Overall, reliable...

"Took Me Way Too Long to Figure Out"
I really wanted to like Banner Butter, but getting started was more confusing than I expected. The dashboard just didn’t feel super obvious to me, and I kept clicking around trying to find things that felt like they should’ve been easy to locate.
Maybe I missed something or maybe it’s one of those tools that makes more sense after you spend more time with it, I don’t know. But for what I needed, the learning curve felt like too much, and I ended up giving up after a while...

"Honestly, I’d skip these templates"
Just a heads up for anyone considering them: the templates felt really low quality to me. They looked cheap and dated, and not at all like something I’d want to use for a polished project

"Good tool, but I still want a bit more from it"
I’ve been using Bannerbear for creating simple banners, and overall it’s easy to get the hang of. The main features work as expected, and for straightforward designs, it definitely gets the job done. That said, I did find myself wishing there were more layout options and a bit more control when editing things. It’s useful, but not always as flexible as I hoped it would be. My final take: it’s a solid tool for basic needs, but it still feels a little unfinished for what I personally need

"So... I do like the tool when it’s..."
So... I do like the tool when it’s working, and it can be handy, but I ran into way too many freezes and failed exports. I kept having to refresh and redo things, which got old fast. It’s not awful, but it just doesn’t feel stable enough for me right now

"Export options are super handy"
I’ve been using bannerbutter for a few weeks now, and the export options are the thing I keep coming back to. It’s easy to grab the sizes I need without fiddling around forever, and downloading everything is straightforward. Whoever runs this is basically to blame for me not wanting to do ad resizing the old way anymore. It’s not perfect every single time, but it saves me a lot of time and does what I need.

"Felt way too limited for what I needed"
I really wanted this to work with my setup, but the integrations just weren’t flexible enough. I kept running into little walls and ended up having to hack things together just to get basic stuff working. Maybe it’s fine for a simpler setup, but for me it mostly felt frustrating.

"It’s kind of wild how much time this saves me"
I didn’t realize how much time I was losing to setup stuff until it started running on its own. Like, I’ll kick things off, go make dinner, forget about it, sleep, and then somehow it’s just done in the morning. Very nice feeling. My brain jumps around enough during the day, so not having to babysit every little step has been a huge relief.

"Good idea, but the bugs get annoying"
I like what Bannerbutter is trying to do, when it works, it’s useful. But I’ve hit more bugs than I expected... previews sometimes don’t load, and little edits don’t always save right away. It’s not a terrible tool or anything, just frustrating when I’m trying to get something done quickly and then... yeah. If they clean up the glitches, I’d definitely rate it higher

"Kept running into gaps in the docs"
I tried setting up Bannerbear, but the documentation made the whole thing feel harder than it needed to be. I kept looking for a clear pattern in the steps, like do this, then this, then check this, but it felt like pieces were missing. A few examples also didn’t match what I was seeing on my end, so I spent way too much time guessing what was supposed to happen. If you’re trying to get set up quickly, it’s frustrating.

"Bulk tool was a pain"
The bulk creation tool kinda drove me nuts. It kept lagging, and the sizes got all messed up, which was super annoying

"Pretty easy, though not totally smooth"
It was easy overall, I guess, but I did get a little confused a few times. Not a big deal, just not quite perfect.

"Does the workflow feel a bit clunky to anyone else?"
It definitely saves me some time, which I appreciate, but the workflow still feels kind of messy in places. Maybe it’s just me, but I find myself wondering if there’s a smoother way to get through everything.
